The Loving Me Forward Brunch

A Mother's Cry in partnership with the GIRLfriend invites you to the introductory ‘Loving Me Forward Brunch in recognition of Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join for a time of fellowship fun and bonding.

To encourage self-love, sisterhood and cultivate purpose, the event will honor breast cancer and domestic violence survivors, and feature an epicure brunch buffet, dancing and other entertainment. The occasion will also hallmark a candlelight ceremony in remembrance of the departed Chantay West, GIRLfriend Delaware Chapter Co-Lead.

Tickets are $50.00 and include a gift bag, exclusive networking, exciting prizes, and a delectable brunch featuring a tasty menu of casserole, an assortment of meats, fruit, pastries, and champagne mimosas, wine, juice, coffee, and tea.  Proceeds benefit community-based services and advocacy endeavors encompasses wraparound support for mothers distressed by the social, psychological, and economic consequences of imprisonment.

Formed in 2009 A Mother’s Cry endeavors to make a difference in multiple areas of impact including criminal justice reform and prisoner advocacy. The GIRLfriend network is a nonprofit organization that was established to forge and preserve healthy relationships between women.
